Tibetan Terrier Breeder & Owners Club
15th Breed Championship Show in conjunction with the Tibetan Terrier World Congress on Sunday,
5th August, 2007 at Moreton Hall, Warwick, England
It is 14 years since I judged the breed in UK. Back then the breed was in the middle of a considerable change, due to the new foreign imports, and there were a great variety of different types in the ring. I was pleased to find out that the type was much more uniform now. The breed had improved in many ways; squarer proportions with higher legs, better necks and longer hind legs giving a balanced outline and functional, easy movement. But also the strong features of the British TTs of the past had been preserved; well shaped heads, compact and powerful bodies and excellent double coats. All this, together, has formed a very good overall quality in the breed in the UK. It was a pleasure to judge your beautiful, typey TTs!
